It's my first time going, I'm going on a date....I planned on wear a little black dress with flats and an evening clutch. Is this too dressy? What's the atmosphere like?
If you're going on a Fri or Sat night, that's perfectly fine! People do wear jeans there, but usually dress them up with nice tops, shoes, accessories.
